Work as a teacher at GEOS Languages PLUS, Los Angeles
GEOS Languages PLUS, Los Angeles is a great place to learn English and do TOEFL iBT test preparation. It is also a great place to work and to teach. GEOS offers a very professional working environment, solid administrative support, professional facilities and resources, and training/advancement opportunities. With schools around the world, GEOS Languages PLUS, Los Angeles also offers you the ability to travel and teach throughout our network of language schools.
GEOS Languages PLUS, Los Angeles' English and TOEFL iBT programs are accredited by ACCET. All of our teachers must possess a university degree and a recognized TEFL/TESL/TESOL qualification. Or, they must have attended, and be able to document, that their teaching training program contained at least 100 hours of theory and 20 hours of practicum. Unfortunately, teaching experience in another country can not replace these criteria.
If you have both a university degree and a recognized teaching certificate, you may send your CV to email@example.com. You may also certainly drop off your CV in person at the school - we will be happy to greet you - but we are not able to meet individually with potential teachers who do wish to visit.
We thank all applicants for their interest.
Hello everyone. Right now I'm studying English at GEOS. I can explain about GEOS right now. If you guys came here, you could meet good good good friends and teachers. The teachers are very kind. They'll help you with anything. For example, 2 days ago I got a parking ticket. I had to pay money for penalty. But I didn't know how to pay money for penalty. So a GEOS staff member helped me. Then I got over my problem about the parking ticket. By the way, if you are over 21 years old, you could go to the night club. California has many good night clubs. I think you'll like it. Why am I studying English right now? Because I will go to film school after GEOS. So I need to learn English! There are no Japanese people there so I'm studying English very hard everyday. Anyway, if you a goal of learning English, you'd better come to GEOS. I hope you'll come here soon. See you later.
