Withdrawal Policy

Notice of cancellation must be in writing, and a withdrawal may be effectuated by the student's written notice or by the student's conduct, including, but not necessarily limited to, a student's lack of attendance.
(a) If notice of cancellation is made by the first class session, or the seventh class day after enrollment, whichever is later, GEOS shall refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institutional charges, less the application fee and/or other non-refundable fees as outlined in the school catalogue and enrollment agreement.
(b) Students who have completed 60 percent or less of the period of attendance shall receive a pro rata refund (total tuition, divided by the number of days in the program, minus the number of days attended). There is no refund for students who have completed 61% or more of the period of attendance.
(c) All refunds will be made within 45 days of a student's cancellation or withdrawal.  Students who enroll at GEOS with an overseas agency should collect their refund from that agency directly.

Transfer

F1 students in good academic standing, and in F1 status (not "Out of Status"), are eligible for academic transfer if they have completed a minimum of 12 weeks of class, or 100% of their contract (whichever comes first).
