To get started:

You may study 1 week to 1 year with GEOS English Academy, Los Angeles. We also offer private lessons and small group lessons for English, Spanish and Japanese; these lessons are especially useful for business people. 

In addition to our Language Courses, we also have a very good Homestay Program, where students live with American Families! Our Homestay Families are all within 30 minutes of our School and enjoy hosting students from all over the world.
Not only do you have the option to stay with a host-family, but you can also decide to stay in a residence that is located only 5 minutes from our school. The residence has a kitchenette, queen-sized bed & full bathroom.

These language courses use a comprehensive methodology, and will help you develop and use all the basic and advanced language skills you need to live in an English, Spanish or Japanese speaking culture.
Super-Intensive English - 40 lessons(30 hours)/week
Intensive English - 30 lessons(22.5 hours)/week
Semi-Intensive English - 20 lessons(15 hours)/week
Part-Time English - 10 lessons(7.5 hours)/week

Our Test Preparation Programs are designed to help Intermediate to Advanced students prepare tests such as TOEFL, TOEIC, GMAT, and develop the necessary language skills required: speaking, listening, writing, and reading.

The GEOS Homestay Program is intended to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of American culture by sharing with their host family in everyday life, as well as, being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able to participate in family activities.

GEOS English Academy Los Angeles is part of the GEOS network of language schools. Our school is a great place to study English, work on improving your TOEFL or TOEIC score,improving your Business English, and make new international friends. GEOS provides quality language courses in a comfortable atmosphere. We offer full time English as a Second Language (ESL) and TOEFL Preparation courses at our school. We also offer Spanish and Japanese course and private, semi-private and group lessons.

International Students

For full-time international students, our Super-Intensive or Intensive English Course can help you improve your English speaking and listening skills, learn new vocabulary, and improve your reading and writing in small size class room or one on one private tutoring. Semi-Intensive or Part-Time study is also available for some visitors. Essay writing, critical listening, reading comprehension, and structure are all part of our course. In addition to an interesting in-class experience, our after school activities calendar is full of interesting and exciting activities to help practice your English skills outside the classroom with students from other classes. School trips, parties, movie day, coffee-talk, and more just for you each month - only at GEOS.
